Barholm is owned by Portaferry Regeneration Ltd and managed by the Piorek Family. It is a tastefully restored Victorian house occupying an outstanding location on Portaferry’s shore front.
In December 2010 we opened the conservatory area to a restaurant which we believe might have one of the best sea views in Northern Ireland.

We serve a breakfast that won a reputation as one of the bestselling products in our restaurant for that early morning cure, but you can enjoy it all day! Our lunch and dinner menu’s offer something for everyone, whether you’re looking for a quick bite or a full meal.
We offer a range of bedrooms including single, double, family and group rooms, most of which have en suite bathrooms. Conference facilities include a large fully equipped conference room and smaller breakout areas. Our conservatory overlooks Strangford Lough providing a superb dining area. Barholm can accommodate up to 50 guests, and so is popular with groups as well as families and individuals. All bedding and towels are provided. At Barholm, you can get a double en suite room overlooking Strangford Lough for just £45.
